The big idea

The idea of Chip-Bus came to us back in 2016 while we were frantically searching for some common electronics parts for an engineering project and couldn’t find any local sources. As places like Radio Shack closed their doors across the country, it became harder and harder to source same-day electronic parts and prototyping equipment for projects. Instead, we had to wait days or sometimes weeks for delivery from big online distributors like Digi-Key and Mouser. For engineers working on a product with a tight deadline, waiting won’t do. Enter Chip-Bus.

After much planning and introspection, we decided to take the leap and be the change we wanted to see. So we bought a bus and the rest is history… in the making!
